Click-and-hold is very uncommon in GUIs if you came from Windows, possibly non-existent. It's not intuitive to do a click-and-hold action and this behavior is inconsistent between empty and occupied slot. using True Pianos and Reaper, through a Focusrite 2i2 interface.
